Topic: *TO DO GREAT THINGS BUILD GREAT TEAMS* Part 15

*_”Be strong and brave, for you will be a successful leader of my people; and they shall conquer all the land I promised to their ancestors.”_* Joshua 1:6, TLB

Successful leaders are strong and brave. They are _*active*_ and not *_passive_*.

Successful leaders don’t watch things happen.

Successful leaders don’t wait for things to happen.

*successful leaders make things happen*. That’s what separates them from those who are unsuccessful.

Passive leaders get nothing done, they are failures going somewhere to happen.

Give a prophecy to one a passive leader, he will wait for it to come to pass. Give a prophecy to an active leader, he will bring it to pass. _*Which one are you? A passive leader or an active leader?*_ TO DO GREAT THINGS BUILD GREAT TEAMS part 15

Active leaders are confident, bold and courageous. They fear nothing!

Courageous leaders raise courageous men. Cowards raise cowards. Everyone after his kind. _*What kind are you raising?*_ TO DO GREAT THINGS BUILD GREAT TEAMS part 15

Active leaders are consumed with results. They prepare for it, they work for it, and they expect it. TO DO GREAT THINGS BUILD GREAT TEAMS part 15

*_Only a demanding leader will achieve great results._*

Don’t tolerate idleness. Don’t condone indigence. What you tolerate will continue – it can’t be changed. If you don’t want to see something continue, stop it as soon as you can. Those who are going to join your team are going to take after those who are already in the team. If you don’t work on these ones to be disciplined, focused, and well mannered, your team has no future.

Your best performance today is the best preparation for tomorrow’s success.

In addition to this, you must know your people by revelation and study them to know how best to help them meet what is demanded of them.

You must never abandon your team. Always stay at the forefront to lead and guide their character, thoughts and actions towards maximum performance throughout the whole process until the goal is reached.

Courage is having the strength of character to persist and hold on to what you believe in the face of opposition.

*CLOSING STATEMENT*

_To be a successful leader you must be daring._
