7 Activities Of A Rapture Ready Christian

7 ACTIVITIES OF A RAPTURE READY CHRISTIAN

Revelation 3:11 KJV

Behold, I come quickly: hold fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Hold on to your faith.  Hold on to your devotion to the Lord.  Whatever God has put in your hand, don’t lose it.

Be careful to fulfill your assignment least someone else takes your crown. Anyone who does your work will take your crown. These crowns will be rewards given for a good life of faith lived for Christ and a job well done for Him. See to it that no one takes your crown. Cast aside laziness. Stop making excuses. And start making progress in commission we received from the Lord. The King’s business requires haste.

Revelation 22:12 KJV

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

  • He is coming for the church – Rupture
  • He is coming with the church – Second coming

Rapture is very close. Today I want to talk to you about 7 ACTIVITIES OF A RAPTURE READY CHRISTIAN

1.INCREASED COMMITMENT TO HIS CHURCH

Hebrews 10:24-25, says that the more we see that day approaching
A. The more we should provoke/inspire others to love and to good works, by working in great love and doing good works ourselves. People are inspired more by what we do than by what we say.
Make up your mind to become the reason why others are walking in love and doing good works, and not otherwise.
And think of ways to inspire others to love and serve the Lord more.

B. The more we should have church meetings. There is a need for more services because the time He gave us to prepare ourselves for the rapture is fast running out. We can buy more time and accomplish more things that will benefit us in the hereafter by having more meetings.

C. The more we should attend meetings.  A rapture ready Christian doesn’t forsake the assembling of the saints. He/she finds great joy in these meetings. Someone who doesn’t love to go to church has a big problem.

D. The more we should exalt one another. Daily encouragements are necessary.  That’s why I salute our brethren who are sharing GRACE & TRUTH all over the world via posts, audios, and live videos, you are changing lives. Thank you.

2.MATURING IN CHRIST

Colossians 1:27-29 AMPC
We are preaching and teaching you,  Christ, the word and the glory of God in all wisdom so that on that day we may present you a mature people to Him. Our efforts to accomplish this task are frustrated when you miss services.  Beloved, the time is short don’t take services lightly.

3.GROWING IN FAITH

Luke 18:8
It is true that when Christ comes He won’t find many people with great faith in His world . The Bible does tell us that there will be a great falling away from the faith before that day (2 Thessalonians 2:3), but it is men and women of faith that will experience this rapture.
You grow your faith in size by hearing more of the word.
Your grow your faith in strength by sharing it and exercising it.
See to it that your faith is big and strong in these last days.

4.WATCHING & PRAYING

Mark 13:28-37
The generation that will see the parable of the fig tree practically illustrated in the sands of time is the generation that will experience the rapture.
Almost all Bible scholars agree that the fig tree in Bible prophecy is Israel. If we see Israel become a nation and start blossoming we should know that we are very close.

Israel became a nation in 19:48, and we are in 2020. A generation in the Bible is anywhere between 40-100 years. Jesus said that this generation won’t pass till all these things be fulfilled. Do your math, you will see just how close we are.

There are those who say we have 10 years left, others 30 and others 3, whichever it is, what matters is that we live ready. If we prepare ourselves and He doesn’t come in 3 or 10 years, we wouldn’t lose anything. But if we don’t prepare ourselves and those who make such predictions prove right, we will be sorry for all eternity.  So lets be smart and to the needful.

Mark 13:33, *”Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.”*
Don’t sleep. Be awake and alert. It’s time to pray like never before.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-11, tells us that those who sleep live like no believers,  for though they are of the day they behave like those of the night, for those who sleep do so in the night.
To be awake and alert
1 Thessalonians  5:8 [8] But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.
Protect your heart with faith and love. And your mind with mindfulness of the salvation that’s coming.

Remember there are three salvations

1. Salvation of the spirit – which you experienced at the new birth
2. Salvation of the soul – which you are experiencing right now as you attend to the word
3. Salvation of the body – which will happen at the rapture when we will receive new bodies that are exactly like the body of Christ.

Be diligent to see to it that you don’t miss any of these salvations.
That day won’t take us by surprise. Those of us who are of the day and awake will know when it’s close. We may not know the exact day nor the hour, but we will know just how close it is. And that’s why we are sharing such with you, it is because we have seen that we are in the times of the signs.

1 Peter 4:7 CEV Everything will soon come to an end. So be serious and be sensible enough to pray.
It is only a senseless person who will live in these days without being serious with prayer.
1 Peter 4:7 TPT Since we are approaching the end of all things, be intentional, purposeful, and self-controlled so that you can be given to prayer.
Schedule daily times of serious prayers and stick to them. The Lord must find you praying.

5.USING HIS GIFTS WELL

1 Peter 4:7-11 KJV
The rapture ready Christian has a fervent love for the saints. And he doesn’t use his position to destroy others but to cover and protect them.
He is also welcome and friendly.
If you are not walking in love, how will you walk in heaven? Heaven is a place of pure love. The best preparation for heaven is walking in love towards all men, both the deserving and the undeserving.

What gift have you received?  Use it to His glory, that’s what He expects you to do. Don’t hide your gift. You don’t want to be called a wicked and foolish servant on that day like that guy who buried his talent.
Gifts are given to make the work that you’ve been assigned easier. Get working and the gifts will join you. You can’t manifest gifts of the Spirit if you are not working for the Lord. Do something, start winning souls,  and Our Helper, the Holy Spirit will manifest Himself through His gifts and help you do the work with great results.

6. FAITHFULNESS IN SERVING

This passage shows us that He should find us serving.
He left us with an assignment to make disciples of all nations, He should find us busy on this job.
But if way say He has delayed so we can behave anyhow, and procrastinate the work, we will be sorry on that great day.
To him more has been given more will be expected.
God doesn’t reward us because of what He has given us, He rewards us because of what we have done with what He gave us.
Your reward will not be determined by your assignment but by your faithfulness.

Luke 9:62 TLB But Jesus told him, “Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God.”
Let us not allow ourselves to be distracted brethren. You should never allow anyone’s wrong treatment of you to make you abandon things that should commend you on that day.
Don’t let the things of this world get in the way of your eternal reward. Focus on what’s most important.

Everything will see in this world, will melt away. Don’t focus on things that are temporal.  Focus on eternal matters. The time is short.
Use your money and college degrees to witness for Christ. Don’t use them to try and build yourself an eternal empire on this temporal planet.
Everything about you should be about His business. That’s why He left us here. And that’s what He expects to find us doing when He comes.

7.GOOD CHARACTER

2 Peter 3:14 CEVMy friends, while you are waiting, you should make certain that the Lord finds you pure, spotless, and living at peace.
He shouldn’t find you living in fornication, drinking,  or living like people who don’t know Him.
Put your life in order, for the time is short. Take your Christianity very seriously, and guard your salvation jealousy.
He should find you pure, spotless, and living at peace.

Lastly, this is to the singles. Marriage is about destiny. Destiny is not about marriage. Marriage is meant to help you serve God better and fulfill your destiny. Don’t marry anyhow, the time is short. Marry someone who will help you do more in this short period of time and not someone who will distract you. Don’t marry for marriage’s sake, marry for destiny’s sake.

And to the married, love each other, but don’t forget why He made two become one, it was because He thought they would have a great reward for their labor.

1 Corinthians 7:29-35 TLB*

The important thing to remember is that our remaining time is very short, and so are our opportunities for doing the Lord’s work. For that reason those who have wives should stay as free as possible for the Lord; [30] happiness or sadness or wealth should not keep anyone from doing God’s work. [31] Those in frequent contact with the exciting things the world offers should make good use of their opportunities without stopping to enjoy them; for the world in its present form will soon be gone. [32] .

In all you do, I want you to be free from worry. An unmarried man can spend his time doing the Lord’s work and thinking how to please him. [33] But a married man can’t do that so well; he has to think about his earthly responsibilities and how to please his wife. [34] His interests are divided

It is the same with a girl who marries. She faces the same problem. A girl who is not married is anxious to please the Lord in all she is and does. But a married woman must consider other things such as housekeeping and the likes and dislikes of her husband. [35] I am saying this to help you, not to try to keep you from marrying. I want you to do whatever will help you serve the Lord best, with as few other things as possible to distract your attention from him.

Let’s be among those who will be found ready.
Whatever you can do for the Lord, do it while you can because we are almost out of time.
Don’t play around with your Christianity, it’s time to be serious more than ever.
Don’t compromise your holiness for anything
