NEW WAVE OF HOLINESS

NEW WAVE OF HOLINESS

Prior to his death, Moses warned Israel repeatedly of the importance of living holy, separated lives when they entered the promised land. God has revealed to me that a new wave of holiness is coming upon God’s people. This coming wave of true holiness will be a deep inner working where Christ will do some deep cleaning in our lives to prepare us for His coming. There is coming a time of cleansing and purging to the Body of Christ! God’s people are going to be tried as gold is tried in the fire, until all the impurities — everything in our lives that is unholy and displeasing to Him — are burned up.

This time of purging will not be easy. It will be painful. God is going to allow circumstances to come into our lives that will bring to the surface the hidden attitudes of our hearts, the impurities, and unholy thoughts and actions. Malachi prophesied:

But who may abide the day of his coming? And who shall stand when he appeareth? For he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap: And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness. (Malachi 3:2-3)

As we enter into this new dimension of holiness, there will be no more hypocrisy — saying one thing and doing another. There will be a genuine manifestation of holiness in our conversation, thoughts, attitudes, and relationships.

Today and tomorrow we are going to meditate on ten principles that will enable you to develop and maintain integrity and live in this new dimension of holiness:

Principle One: Ask God to expose sin in your life: Cry out to God and ask Him to expose any sin in your life that may be hidden to you. Pray as King David did, “Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults” (Psalm 19:12). NEW WAVE OF HOLINESS

Principle Two: Present yourself to God: Willingly submit yourself to God and permit Him to cut away everything that is ungodly or unholy. Don’t try to measure yourself by the world’s standards or the standards of man. Submit yourself to God’s standards:

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:1-2)

Make this declaration:

God, expose any sin in my life. Cleanse me from secret faults. I submit myself to you as a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable.
