“Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.” Proverbs 4:23, GNT

Your mind is a powerful tool for accomplishments. If you control it and use it well, it will bring you
success and everything you desire. But if you let it run wild without restraints, it will ruin your life. Just
as fire can burn things or cook food, or as water can sustain human life or drown it, so your mind can
bring growth or failure depending on how you use it.

You can make your mind carnal or spiritual, a junkyard or a treasure filed, depending on what you fill it
with. What you think about most controls your mind, and what controls your mind dominates your life. CONDITION YOUR MIND FOR LIFE AND PEACE

A carnal mind is a mind that enjoys accommodating thoughts and imaginations that are contrary to the word of God. It is a mind that focus on fleshly things. It is a worry-filled, fear-filled, worldly mind. This
“…carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.”
(Romans 8:7). It works against the Law of faith, or what is also called THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE. (Romans 8:2). CONDITION YOUR MIND FOR LIFE AND PEACE

A spiritual mind, on the other hand, is a renewed mind; a mind that enjoys thinking and imagining the
word and thinking in line with its realities. It is the mind that God can use in manifestation His will on
earth as it is in heaven.

A carnal mind makes life hard. But a spiritual mind makes life easy. “For to be carnally minded is death;
but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” (Romans 8:6).

Work on your mind; work on your life. Your life is shaped by your thoughts. “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are TRUE, whatsoever things are HONEST, whatsoever things are JUST, whatsoever things are PURE, whatsoever things are LOVELY, whatsoever things are OF GOOD REPORT; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, THINK ON THESE THINGS.” (Philippians 4:8).

CONFESSION

I submit my mind to the Lordship of the word of God to think only on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of a good report. And refuse to think on lies, and things that are false, wrong and unfair, unclean, bad, and of a evil report… My mind is conditioned for life and peace. Glory to God!
