CONFRONTING CONFUSION

CONFRONTING CONFUSION

This month we are eliminating some of the obstacles that prevent us from claiming God’s promises. We have talked about fear and doubt and learned powerful strategies to confront these walls in our lives. The next obstacle we will face is confusion. 1 Corinthians 2:9-14

Are you facing circumstances, problems, and crises in your life that are causing inner turmoil? Are there things in your life that are causing you to be uncertain, fearful, worried, and perplexed? Have things happened in your life that you just don’t understand and you don’t know what to do? It seems you have exhausted every possible means of determining the solution to your problems. You know what God’s Word says. You have prayed, struggled, reasoned, and still are unsure of what action to take, what to say, or what direction to go.

Instead of having God’s peace and knowing what to do, you are facing a wall of confusion.

Confusion will rob you of your peace and joy. It will hinder you from fulfilling the will of God and from taking possession of God’s promises and receiving what you need and desire from Him. Satan’s strategy is to bring you to a point in your life where you are confused and perplexed, where your mind is in a constant state of turmoil, and you are faced with problems and circumstances that are so complex you just don’t know what to do.

Your mind is the battlefield where the battle of confusion must be fought and won. This is one of the reasons why it is so important for you to have a breakthrough where you are no longer depending upon your natural mind with your limited abilities or human understanding. God wants you to have a one-hundred percent victorious mind of Christ but as long as you live your life according to the limitations of your carnal, natural mind, you will be unable to take possession of God’s promises. The Apostle Paul said:

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (1 Corinthians 2:14)

As long as you are still living according to your natural mind and are controlled by it, you cannot understand the things of God. You are unable to know the truth, you cannot discern God’s voice or know His will, and you open yourself up to confusion, frustration, and defeat.

We are entering a period of time that is unparalleled in the history of the world and the Church. This is, without a doubt, the greatest hour the Church of Jesus Christ has ever faced!

In the midst of the great turmoil and upheaval that permeates every phase of our society, God has planned for the Body of Christ to be strong, immovable and fearless, regardless of what we may see happening all around us. We must confront and conquer the obstacle of confusion.

Make this declaration:

Today, I begin a march on the wall of confusion. It will come down through the power of God.
